Ok, all well formed bounces always come from <> :-) Or if not, then please enlighten me ? In the questioner's context, <> will be overwhelmingly in the majority for the bounces he receives, and dumping null envelope senders regardless is a bad idea - unless maybe one uses something like VERPs to ensure that one did send the original.
