Hi Bob,
We actually registered perlq.com as a potential domain for our perlQuestionnaire software at chumpsoft.com
Matt Wright Resource Index Online __________________________________________________________
That's the "Matt's Scripts" perl cgi guy, lots of forms-to- mail cgi code. I described qpsmtpd to him in case he might want to either copy and paste validation checks from plugins or dump to qpsmtpd and let qpsmtpd prevent abuse of his form mail and survey form mail applications. I mentioned that in shopping for dns blacklists, I found several that blacklisted bad formmail sites(their mta's), and suggested that he probably knows exactly what the spammer's tricks and formmail weaknesses are for turning formmail into open relay and trojaned pc equivalent, so he could browse qpsmtpd plugins for validation hacks, or queue to qpsmtpd.
Binging on the parlor name game last night, I registered
http://perlq.org http://perlqd.org http://perlqd.com http://perlqd.net
and redirected them all to develooper qpsmtpd. No functional collision between perlq[d] as mta and perlq[uestionnaire], some symbiosis likely, too, as above, and by cross-linking.
Last night's popcorn, still edible but probably doomed.
