Hi all,
I have have written a plugin, that converts MS-TNEF (winmail.dat) attachments
to MIME. With this plugin, webmail users are enabled to open attachments,
which were received from a badly configured Outlook client. As a benefit, you
may allow your users doing the same without annonying non-ms recipients.
The plugin also converts uuencoded attachments, sent by Outlook or old unix
mail clients.
For testing you can pick up my rpm plus all the other required packages here:
http://nx.dyndns.info/packages/smeserver-qpsmtpd-tnef2mime.tgz
Installation instructions are included as install.txt

IMPORTANT: All packages were build for Centos3/RHEL3/SME7
RPM smeserver-qpsmtpd-tnef2mime-0.0.1-0.noarch.rpm is only for
SME Server 7 (http://smeserver.sourceforge.net/), please ignore it, if you not
runinng SME7. The plugin itself is the file tnef2mime and requires the perl
modules perl-Convert-TNEF, perl-IO-stringy, perl-MIME-tools and
perl-File-MMagic
