Are you running the current trunk or one of the releases (and if so what one)? If you are running something recent enough to include my log() rewrite, you should run at the highest log level, so you can get an idea exactly where in the process you are getting stuck. It's not like you cannot do this with the older code, just that it is easier to play with the logging with the newer code.
