Hmm, I suppose I really shouldn't be subscribed to this list through a
mail server that I don't control.
On the one I do control, which uses qpsmtpd, I have a plugin that adds a
message ID if it's missing, but not a date. For SpamAssassin learning,
I wanted to make sure every message had an ID.
Another header-manipulating plugin I use gets rid of
'Disposition-Notification-To', 'Return-Receipt-To', and
'Registered-Mail-Reply-Requested-By' headers. I guess people would
frown on that also.
