That may be but when I update to the latest version of qpsmtpd then this 
problem occurs.  When I go back to a previous version that I'm running on 
my server then it doesn't.  The only change which causes the problem is 
qpsmtpd

I'm not using supervise to control the whole thing simply because I don't
care for it that much.  I use it elsewhere for different kinds of processes
but don't want to in this particular case.  There are a number of ways I 
could do the logging from qpsmtpd - I don't particularly care which I do.
