Help with trunk needed

I never sent anything to the list, but last week I merged all of the 
0.3x changes to trunk.  Matt fixed the logging code so that the base 
program loads successfully.  I just committed a change to display the 
'fd: #' line on almost all log lines (there is a stubborn Transaction 
object that is created briefly that doesn't conform).

It seems to nearly work; I can send one message through, but the second 
one hangs (using a subset of my normal plugins).  I need some other eyes 
to look at the code to see why it will only accept a single message 
before hanging.  Someone who understands the Danga code would be best. ;-)

Also, does anyone want to help document the Configuration server (like 
how to call it)?
