Earlier today, I committed the fixes so that SMTP AUTH works in the trunk code again. My next order of business is to pull the trigger on running perltidy on trunk, so if anyone is sitting on a big patch for trunk, speak now or expect a certain amount of pain merging later.
I will not be running perltidy on branches/0.3x at this time; I think it will probably be easier to merge any changes upstream (i.e. to trunk) if I don't do that in both locations. Anything new that gets added to 0.3x should be run through perltidy before being committed, so it won't need to get fixed up later. There is a .perltidyrc in both trunk and branches/0.3x, so they will be formatted consistently. John
