I would be much obliged if someone with a working copy of this can
give me a description of what they did.
I'm using version 0.31.1
I have the 'auth_flat_file' listed as the 2nd item in
config/plugins (right after 'tls').
How should the config/auth_flat_file file be set up? Does the
address portion have to be the same as the envelope sender address? In my
case:
[EMAIL PROTECTED]:password
Can it be any fully qualified address that's listed (whether it
exists or not) in the config/auth_flat_file file?
How should the mail client indicate the address to use? In my case
"[EMAIL PROTECTED]" to include the domain, or should it just be the
user portion '@' hostname of the server?
What mail clients should this work with? As I indicated in my
first post, my older Mozilla didn't fire the plugin at all, but Netscape
7.1 on Windows did.
Any help, pointers appreciated. Thanks.
