Oh, quite right, sorry about that, thanks for clearing up that point. I totally skipped the part about the retries, my mail-skimming abilities seem to be failing me.

Although I don't have a better work-around, I still find that to be a kludge to fix someone else's broken propreitary code. Luckily, since I'm a one-man-show, I have the option of blocking the offending senders with IPtables, which is something I also do for many of the zombie spam-bots that pound on me relentlessly. Hmm, maybe spam-bot code was lifted from Lotus! nah...

While I don't care what someone else runs, I do care when the server keeps banging on a door I already have shut (and thus taking up a valuable slot). Maybe I won't care much when I'm running pollserver...
