I am just wondering if anyone has any thoughts as to why qpsmtpd is
not delivering mail from Novabackup which is a backup solution running
on one of the computers in our office. Everything appears to go
through fine except at the end where qpsmtpd gives a 451 Incomplete
data error:

The messages where delivered fine before I set up qpsmtpd in front of
qmail so it appears that qpsmtpd has some issue with the messages from
NovaBackup. The version of NovaBackup is reasonably current 7.3.1. I
have included the source from a novabackup message. The X-mailer is
NovaStor SMTP Class not sure if that is producing messages that are
unacceptable to qpsmtpd. Both qmail and postfix appear to accept these
messages fine though. Qpsmtpd is working fine for everything else
though. Spam has plummeted with Qmailscanner going from showing 1500
spam messages a day down to just over 100 a day on average :)
