as mentioned in another thread, i have just published the first version of a package called qplocal. i would very much like others to use and provide feedback on the code. i would also like to thank all the qpsmtpd devels who made this possible (even easy!)
you can view the readme and download the code from: http://www.thebility.com/qplocal/ below is an excerpt from the site: qplocal is a package of plugins/scripts/configs which can be used to setup a simple qmail/qpsmtpd anti-spam MX to run directly from the checkouts, without adding any additional accounts other than qmail's. it uses xinetd by default. you may not wish to use qplocal in this way, but the plugins should still work. Themes: keep qpsmtpd checkout in /var/qpsmtpd instead of installed in system. keep all local changes in var/qplocal instead of qpsmtpd checkout. all plugins set an 'X-qp-pluginname' header, with a common format. all plugins also log this header at the end of their main hook. no plugins set or check the 'relayclient' note. all plugins try to be PBP compliant. all plugins are short for readability (no register(), no arg parsing). all plugins operate early in smtp (no spamassassin, etc). all regex_* plugins have the same format config file. thanks- allan -- "The truth is an offense, but not a sin"
