Hi Rex, I have been using http://tv.adobe.com/channels both to upskill my team and my kids. The kids love it - we work through the tutorials in class and because its not me - they pay more attention!!! There is a whole program devoted to what's new in CS5, and other versions (CS3 - CS4 are also supported). Each section is broken up into manageable chunks (most less than 6 minutes each), and are podcasts and paper based tutorials. It's a great resource - all free and you can even create an Adobe account that will let you create your own library of resources which you can then use to quickly locate your required resources.

I have recently purchased and installed an educational version (for students and teachers) of Dreamweaver CS5 to my computer. It is a bit different to my last foray with DW, which was DW3 (not CS3 but DW3). That was 13 years ago, and for those interested, here is a website I created at that time - http://exploringdata.net. By modern standards - not good. Amongst many other design issues, some internal links don't work as it has been moved, and many external links don't work because it hasn't been updated in 13 years :-( This term I have been using Kompozer and have been reading some books on CSS. So . . . My question is, what is the fastest and best way to get up to speed with Dreamweaver CS5? TIA for any replies. Cheers Rex --- You are currently subscribed to qsiteict as: [email protected].
