One possibility would be to crowdsource this, kind of like re-captcha. After a while of using Qt Creator, it could present a dialog saying something like: """ Participate to a survey: Your OS name and version is xx.xx and your gdb version appears to be yy.yy. How would you rate your Qt Creator experience in debugging in scale 1-5? Results will be used to improve Qt Creator. """ After which it would update a central repo. After enough stats collected Qt Creator would "know" without human intervention if the experience should be good or warning should be issued if the system is not known to be good. Just an idle thought, Harri _______________________________________________ Qt-creator mailing list Qt-creator@qt-project.org http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/qt-creator
