Hi,
I have downloaded and installed the version:
qt-creator-windows-2.6.81-197-2012-08-24_11-09-32.7z

The jom.exe is missing, right?
I started a project and got this messages:
...
12:54:16: Starting: "jom.exe"

qtcreator_ctrlc_stub: Command line failed: jom.exe

12:54:16: The process "jom.exe" crashed.
...

My system: MS Windows 7, Qt v.4.8.2 (32 bit)

I've now done the final merge from master to 2.6, so we enter "regular" feature
freeze for 2.6 now.

That said, and with the prospect of having a beta in 1 1/2 weeks, I want to ask
you to test Qt Creator 2.6, and to create bug reports for the issues you find.
For binaries see the links below.

Areas that should receive most attention include

* everything that has to do with the new "Target" settings, such as
    - opening projects that have been created with Qt Creator 2.5, and checking
if the imported settings make sense
    - edge (or not so edge) cases with no targets and/or Qt versions defined,
unconfigured projects, targets that have settings that don't fit together etc
* debugging / attaching to running applications, debugging remote applications,
and debugging in general
* support for developing Qt 5 applications, i.e. opening, running, debugging,
editing (completion, symbol navigation etc)
    - NOTE: use a fresh + current Qt 5 for testing, do *not* use the Qt 5
alpha. A lot of things have changed in the meantime.

Thanks a lot,
Eike

Qt Creator 2.6 snapshots can be found here (7zips for win/lin, dmg for mac):
http://builds.qt-project.org/view/Qt%20Creator/

It will take a few hours till the builds actually contain that last merge
master>2.6.

For the mac builds look under "unix".
The windows build regularly fails for funny reasons, just take the artefacts of
the last successful build.
