Actually... I saw something similar in SVN support.

"Sometimes" QtCreator did not see that my directory has a ".svn" duerctory,
and SVN support was disabled from my project/files. This was in 2.7,
unfortunately I cannot reproduce, and I am a little "off" and I am not
following 2.8.
