Hi, With the change of the position of the progress bar in 2.8 to the bottom right, is there any way to keep this consistently visible?
The popup disappears by default after a few seconds. There's a small up arrow button in the bottom status toolbar that seems to allow embedding this progress bar into it, but even that tends to disappear as well. It's really useful knowing the state of the last build, without having to pop up the progress bar again or check the build log or kick off another useless build (especially when a build system can take +40 secs to work out if any files have changed). Is there any way to configure this, or revert back to the old behaviour of the progress bar on the left? In addition, it seems that you can't cancel a build by clicking on the cross to the right of the build toolbar any more in 2.8 RC (Linux and Mac) as the cross never appears - but when the same progress bar (but different colour) appears for indexing there is a cross to cancel this. Bug? Thanks, Peter Pearson _______________________________________________ Qt-creator mailing list [email protected] http://lists.qt-project.org/mailman/listinfo/qt-creator
