Hi, you mean why we did not port all of the Qt Creator UI to Qt Quick 2? The main reason is that it would be a huge effort without any real benefit for Qt Creator and we do not have the resources. For now the Welcome Page, Qt Quick Designer and QML Profiler serve well as a showcase and proofing grounds for Qt Quick (2). It would definitely be possible to port other parts as well, though.
