This is a known bug and has been talked about before. I see this on OS X all the time. If you "right click" somewhere in the editor you can get your cursor back but this becomes quite annoying. Quitting Creator and relaunching will fix it for a while then it comes back. I don't remember the bug number but I know this has been discussed on this list before.
