Please note that the fonts being blurred not only in the code editor,
but in GUI too. This is very strange behavior, as in other applications
compiled with the same Qt5 libraries, fonts are rendered normally.
This bug was introduced between v3.4.0 and
79d3d2348830508d6bc4789027a9c5b009eba7bd (approximately). Unfortunately
I can not use git bisect to find commit with font bug.

Actually both QtCreator are built with the same Qt version 5.4.1.
i'll try with a new Qt version, maybe with the one released by
QtCompany istead of the one packaged by my distro

Depends. Is the one packaged in your distro based on Qt5?

There have been quite some changes regarding font rendering in
Qt 5.
See e.g. https://bugreports.qt.io/browse/QTBUG-37749 (though
it seems people there complained about “too sharp” font
rendering).
There seem to have been some changes/fixes in Qt 5.4(.1?) as
well, so you might want to try a different Qt5 version as well.
