When you try to do i.e. lupdate via external tools, then it doesn’t work when no project is selected in project tree but a project is already loaded. Problem is that “ProjectTree::currentProject()” is invalid because no project is selected in project tree.
This behavior exists in current creator version (3.4.1) and is different to old version (2.8.1). I think the current behavior is problematic or misleading. I would expect that i.e. lupdate/lrelease will always use the startup project as current project.
