That's why I prefer the offline installer using the same directory structure as well. It it uses the Qt/x.y.z, it should leave all other installtions intact. I don't know why it uses Qtx.y.z/

I generally gravitate away from the online installer as it doesn't always work on release day. Couldn't the Offline installer also work the same way?
