Programmatically-resizable QDockWidgets? Well THAT took long enough.
I've been waiting on those since 4.3.

If there's no technical constraint keeping the panels in QtC's current
layout, and if it's not much more difficult than swapping the base
class and how they're added to the layout, I'd agree with the
suggestion.
