Hello All,

I've been exploring the options available within Qt Creator for automating some
file maintenance on save. The beautifier supports some of the formatting things
I want to do. In addition, I want to create or update information in file
header comments for changed files. Would it be reasonable to extend the
beautifier with an option to specify arbitrary scripts to be run on file save?

It is arguable that this is not "beautifying" but modifying the code which may
be out of scope for this plugin. If that is the consensus then does this seem
like a feature that would be useful in Qt Creator in general? Perhaps in the
Options->Text Editor->Behavior->Cleanups Upon Saving area?

Thanks!
Corey Pendleton
