Yes, the plan would also be to remove the plugin support files. Generally, most of the porting work is to add a CMakeLists.txt file with some CMake preamble and qtc_add_plugin, like described in https://doc-snapshots.qt.io/qtcreator-extending/first-plugin.html#cmake-project
