Hi.

Currently there's no watcher on the highlight definitions directories. The
"registration" of the MIME types handled by the generic highlighter happens
when Qt Creator starts and whenever a directory change is applied in the
Options page.

Does the problem persist once you re-start Creator? If yes, could you please
report this at http://bugreports.qt.nokia.com ?

Regards,
Leandro.

p.s.: Sorry for the late reply and top post.

Subject: [Qt-creator] Highlighter for non-cpp file

Hello all,

I have a SQL file, e.g. "s.sql", referenced in the "OTHER_FILES" section
of the project's file (e.g. "proj.pro"). When I open the file, QtCreator
tells me "A highlight definition was not found, try to find one".

I actually do have a "sql.xml" file borrowed from Kate, placed it in
every directory I could think of and suggested in the "Options" dialog,
but my SQL file is still not highlighted... am I missing something?

Using QtCreator 2.1.0 beta and Qt 4.7.1, build on Win7 using MSVC2008.

Thanks for any hint :-)
