The sis file that is generated by Qt creator is installable on the device, but could not launch the app. When I use self singed certificate, I get the below message. Executable file: 374593 2011-01-05T12:04:47 N:\NokiaQtSDK\Symbian\SDK\epoc32\release\armv5\urel\Panorama.exe Package: 333768 2011-01-05T13:55:37 N:\Panorama\AppSymbian\Panorama.sis Deploying application to 'Nokia USB (COM18)'... Copying installation file... Installing application... Could not install from package C:\Data\Panorama.sis on device: General OS-related error Finished. If I use custom certificate i.e. rnd certificate, I get the below message Executable file: 331352 2011-01-03T20:43:32 N:\NokiaQtSDK\Symbian\SDK\epoc32\release\armv5\urel\Panorama.exe Package: 298924 2011-01-03T20:46:42 N:\Panorama\AppSymbian\Panorama.sis Deploying application to 'Nokia USB (COM18)'... Copying installation file... Installing application... Starting application... Could not start application: General OS-related error Finished. If you notice the difference between these two, in the later one it is getting installed, but not getting launched. Then I thought it might be problem in app itself and try to debug it. Then I get the below message while trying to debug it "cannot start executable "c:\sys\bin\panorama.exe"on the device: General OS related error" Could you please help me to resolve this issue? You can verify this by Installing yourself after copying to the phone, you should get certificate error. Creator Will do only Self-Signing. Need to provide a Certificate in SDK, or you need to sign yourself.
