Hello everybody! We are happy that so many people are willing to spend their time working on plug-ins for Qt Creator, thereby making a cool IDE even better.
So far we have accepted the mercurial plugin (Brian McGillion), the class view and image view (both by Denis Mingulov), macros (Nicolas Arnaud-Cormos) and just today the bazaar plugin (Hugues Delorme) into the Qt Creator code base. A big round of applause for those splendid contributions, please! I just hope I did not forget somebody... even if I did: We do appreciate your efforts a lot! Today I set out to document the process that leads to us accepting (or rejecting) plug-ins that are contributed. Please take a look at http://developer.qt.nokia.com/wiki/Qt_Creator_Plug-in_Contribution_Guide and tell me whether the process is acceptable for you and where we can improve on it. This page also includes a short section on how we are going to remove plug-ins again if that becomes necessary.
