After closing all projects and files, restarting Creator and creating just one empty text file, the save menu entry was suddenly available after recording.
So it seems somehow connected to the project environment and/or open files. I guess it doesn't make much sense to post a bug report unless I can give clear reproduction steps. It works for me, I'm surprised that you can't save it, if you can replay it you should be able to save it. Stupid question: did you stop recording the macro? Maybe it's specific to something you are trying to record, can you create a bug report with a step by step description?
