Is that behavior specific to the Qt Creator application, or do other apps in 
the VM have that problem too? I remember similar issues when working with 
virtual machines (but usually only when using a virtual machine on a computer 
that I connected to through screen sharing, so plus another indirection Screen 
Sharing -> VM), but then most applications were affected.
