Hi Frank, Windows 2000 is no longer supported by Qt Software for either Qt or Qt Creator (http://doc.trolltech.com/4.5/supported-platforms.html). It is community supported only which means you would need to debug it and come up with a fix yourself, sorry. We could add a warning to the installer, though.
