Hi, Qt Creator detects if a directory is managed by svn by checking for the presence of the ".svn", "_svn" subdirectories (tested with Tortoise SVN). Could you please try whether it works with Qt Creator 1.3, and if it doesn't work, how the svn-directories are named on your system?
