Yes, but it uses some inefficient workarounds due to missing or broken features. Best recommendation is still 6.8.50 from archer-tromey-python, followed by 6.8 as released, followed by 7.0.1. Recent gdb from CVS is starting to look good, so when 7.1 is out this is likely to be the new favourite.
