I heard that there is a problem with Qt Creator crashing because of some 
interaction with the Tortoise SVN shell extension on Windows (check posts on 
this list from the last few days). If that is true for you, I understand that 
it has been fixed in the latest Qt Creator snapshot. Try using the April 7 or 
later snapshot.
