Was I supposed to attempt w/ vs2005 instead? Using the msvc compiler is easier and more likely to succeed.
Currently the mingw & qt 4.7 combination is messy, since I don't use windows much, I can only give you information based on hearsay, which is: Apparently some people can compile Qt 4.7 with mingw gcc 4.4, whereas for others it crashes in random places. Some report that gcc 4.5 is better and doesn't crash. It's still unclear whether we'll have qt 4.7 beta binary packages for mingw. If so you could try waiting until then and use those. > > Should I be trying this based on master or 2.0.0-beta? I suppose I should > > RTFM on your patch submissions policies... BTW, I'd be in favour of accepting such a patch, it's a hack, but not intrusive and very much localized to one place. Though I don't maintain that code. daniel _______________________________________________ Qt-creator mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trolltech.com/mailman/listinfo/qt-creator
