Hi Arne,

The package is a universal binary with PPC and Intel for 32 bit compiled
in. When it was created, there was no 64 bit java for Mac ;-)

Unfortunatly, there will be some time before we can support 64-bit java
on Mac OS X. One of my collegues describes some of the reasons in his blog:
http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2007/06/21/wwdc-qt-carbon-64-bit-and-other-buzzwords/

The main problem is that Apple decided to drop support for their 64 bit
C++ API's that were previously promised. This means that Qt needs to be
ported to the Cocoa API's before we can support a 64 bit build. We're
working on that, and I believe our public roadmap says by end of the
year, but I don't remember exaclyt. Until there is such a version of Qt
for 64 bit for Mac OS X we cannot bring Qt Jambi to 64 bit either.

best regards,
Gunnar
