We developed CUPSS for the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The software is open source and free to download at:
http://www.epa.gov/cupss/ It is a free, easy to use, asset management tool for small drinking water and wastewater utilities, a desktop application providing an electronic mechanism for tracking and planning basic facility operations, maintenance activities and long term asset management. It is based on Qt Jambi and has an embedded MySQL database. We are still maintining and enhancing the software. A lot of thanks to Gunnar and Eskil's invaluable answers on this list that helped us with so many issues. We really hope that Qt Jambi will continue one way or another, as it is way better than any other Java based UI frameworks.
