That's one of my nitpicks: version is hardcoded in Version.java.

I still don't have a clear plan for it :( Suggestions welcome. 
Should be some way to pick up this info from the Qt binaries, maybe parse qmake -v?
Getting
rid of a lot of Ant custom task also turns out to be a very hard job
without ant-contrib: I need <var> badly for <juic> and <generator>.

  
Can't see any reason why not using it? As long as we don't modify it, but only use
it for comping the project? If this was a problem, gcc would also be impossible to
use for building Qt, right?
