I can certainly try to help you out a bit on the testing side.
I'm going to run some more tests using MSVC 2005 to see if I
still get problems with the linker on the beta... If so, I will
probably try to move to MSVC 2008 to see if that helps me.

Would really appreciate some directions on where to look from
someone more into Windows native, though...
