More generally, the generator still remains something of a black box to my eyes (not that I have studied it extensively). There is documentation, but you need to assimilate it all before you can even start working - and even then, you will make errors. That is a huge barrier to keeping qt-jambi in sync with qt. As an evidence, Eskil still commits changes to the type system, and I'm quite sure he does it on his spare time. It would be nice to have a "cookbook" which would allow other people to contribute without having to go through (and understand) tens and tens of pages - which are not even centralized to start with... -- Francis Galiegue, [email protected] "It seems obvious [...] that at least some 'business intelligence' tools invest so much intelligence on the business side that they have nothing left for generating SQL queries" (Stéphane Faroult, in "The Art of SQL", ISBN 0-596-00894-5) _______________________________________________ Qt-jambi-interest mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trolltech.com/mailman/listinfo/qt-jambi-interest
