That's perfectly fine ... I don't expect things to work out great right from
the start. I'm against the big note as suggested, basically because people
won't see it if they go to:

https://sourceforge.net/projects/qtjambi/files/

what I suggest is to use folders to make it easier for people to navigate
through it:

- files/4.5.2

include binaries / zip's from previous release

- files/4.6.0-alpha

basically what we have now ...

this will allow us to navigate the files quickly even later on ...

I currently don't have the rights to make that change so somebody else will
have to ...

cheers

Frank

About Mac, I did not even try to start the demo.

It's one of the ticket that I hope will be solved by next week. The person
that will get the demo to work for at least one OS will surely get all other
OS to work at the same time.

I think it is important to understand that everything is still very beta and
very unofficial.
It is just a first shot at it. Trying to keep this beautiful piece of code
alive.

We should find a way to make it clear on sourceforge using such a message:

An official release is not yet available.

You will find here release files issued from the development trunk. These
are not official releases and are only made available to help the
development team.

Definitely the same thing in Linux 64 bit. Not sure about Linux 32. What

I've been looking into the cause but I haven't been able to pinpoint it yet.

That is great news ... I was wondering whether you faced the same problem of
the qtdemo launcher not displaying any examples, like we have seen with the
windows installer?

Thanks

Hello!

I've just uploaded the 4.6 release on Linux. There is no script generating

it,

I've spent some time copying in the necessary files from
4.5.2 nokia release (scripts), built binaries (src and jars) and from the

Qt build

(binaries and libs).

Rene, I see that you have uploaded a 4.5 release? Is this the "old"
version from Nokia?

Regards,
Helge Fredriksen
