this behavior can be corrected if you redirect  you stylesheet to you 
specifict  Widget.

Instead of using something like

widget.serStyleSheet("color :blue;");

Use
widget.setStyleSheet("QWidget#widget{color: blue;}");

Also, avoid the configuration of individual widgets using the first syntaxis, 
because some you can obtain some rare behavior. Insteat, try to put all of 
your stylesheet in one place (the all styleSheet properties on the higher 
Widget).
