Mobility is required as parts of webkit are dependant on 1.1. You can find them in qtsdk 1.1. Most new age browsers rely on open source web rendering engine called webkit. So the question boils down to whether your browser is based on a webkit engine version that supports HTML5. Infact the S60 browser is based on webkit. Qt is well aligned with webkit, as they use it for QWebView, QGraphicsWebView. The latest iteration of webkit qt module does support some HTML5 features. The fact is that HTML5 is close to freezing its specifications, hence they cannot support the unknows. If you want you can give a try by installing the webkit sisx with HTML5 support. Make sure you run your HTML5 code on a QWebView or QGraphicsWebView. Please visit http://qt.nokia.com/products/library/qtwebkit for more details. More over if you want to get a feel of HTML5 on desktop, I recommend you to try Firefox 4 beta.
