Qt Mobility 1.0 was packaged and signed for installation only on Nokia phones.
Will 1.1 be signed for Nokia/Samsung/Sony Ericsson as Qt 4.7.0 is?

Hi,

1 ) QtMobility symbian camera backend is based on ecam implementation. If Vivaz
uses that it should work.

2) I don't know this for fact but generally you will need to compile qtmobility
so that epocroot env variable is pointing to a correct place. You can do this
from "Qt for Symbian Command Prompt" - nokia qt sdk konsole.

Subject: [Qt-mobility-feedback] Mobility 1.1 / Nokia Qt SDK / Sony Ericsson

Hi

I just read the Qt Mobility 1.1. TP blog post once again
(http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2010/07/27/qt-mobility-110-technology-preview/).

Looking at some of the last comments I found some disturbing information that I
hope somebody here can either deny or verify.

Here are the questions

1. Does Qt Mobility 1.1 TP work on e.g. Sony Ericsson Vivaz. That is what
have highest priority for me – getting our camera app running on the best
camera phone on the market AFAIK.

2. How do you build Qt Mobility 1.1 TP for use with Nokia Qt SDK?

Med venlig hilsen
