Hi,

i am a maemo developer (author of gpxview, maep and osm2go) and am looking into
qt mainly with respect to maemo5 and meego. But beforehand i'd like to get the
setup working on the linux desktop itself as this is the way i did most of the
maemo development.

Is there a way to use GPS on the desktop? The satellitedialog example claims
that i can't find a valid location source on my PC. I do have a running GPSD
setup (xgps as well as the desktop versions of all of my programs run fine).
Does qtmobility support gpsd? If not, how else can i make qtmobility access my
nmea/bluetooth gps?

Regards,
  Till
