Hi folks,

I'm happy to announce the initial release of my first Qt / QML project:
QtGas, an open source app inspired on GasCubby[1] for the iPhone OS and (for
the moment) targeted to Windows Mobile and Maemo devices. Its purpose is to
track gas mileage and vehicle maintenance and you can find some screenshots
at [2].

The sources can be found at [3] and you can also find precompiled versions
on [4]. Apart from the WM and Maemo versions, there are also a Windows XP
and Linux (Ubuntu) versions so that you can try out on your desktop before
deploying to your device. The mobile versions are all statically linked so
you won't need to download additional .dlls / packages. Please let me know
if you run into any issues.

The code was compiled against Qt 4.7 Beta 1 and was tested on Ubuntu Lucid,
Windows XP x64 (it should be fine under x86), Windows Mobile 6.5.3 and Maemo
5 (under scratchbox). If you could try it on a real Maemo device and let me
know if it works fine I'd be really happy :-)

There's still a lot of work to be done as you can see on the roadmap [5], so
if you are willing to help me out, just let me know or fork the project on
github and send me a pull request. As you guys will probably notice, it
looks like a clone of GasCubby and as design is not one of my strengths I'd
appreciate any help with this point ;-)

More information can be found on project's README.
