As it happens this link got stale, because QtMultimedia was moved outside of 4.7 scope: http://labs.trolltech.com/blogs/2010/05/06/qt-47-scope-change-regarding-qt-multimedia/ > I get the error saying > > defaultServiceProvider::requestService(): no service found > for -"com.nokia.qt.mediaplayer" > > My Qt version is 4.7 Beta1 My best advice for you is to try downloading the Qt APIs for Mobile Development: https://qt.nokia.com/products/appdev/add-on-products/catalog/4/new-qt-apis/mobility , and add them to your Qt installation. But it seems they're providing only source code so far, so you'd have to compile the library yourself ... You might consider also asking on the Qt-Mobility-Feedback mailing list http://lists.trolltech.com/mailman/listinfo/qt-mobility-feedback for guidance. Regards Kai PS: Don't get me wrong, but please consider following the common e-mail list etiquette next time. That is, don't post 'new' messages about the same topic, but use the "Reply" button. Also, don't post messages without new information (like your last one). -- Kai K?hne Software Engineer Nokia, Qt Development Frameworks Nokia gate5 GmbH Firmensitz: Invalidenstr. 117, 10115 Berlin, Germany Registergericht: Amtsgericht Charlottenburg, Berlin: HRB 106443B Umsatzsteueridentifikationsnummer: DE 812 845 193 Gesch?ftsf?hrer: Dr. Michael Halbherr, Karim T?htivuori _______________________________________________ Qt-qml mailing list [email protected] http://lists.trolltech.com/mailman/listinfo/qt-qml
