Hi I have struggeled alot with this as well and I am far from sure how everything works yet. However there is one thing that I have noticed. The build usually fail at some point when using the qconfig option, however most of the time QtCore and QtGui are generated ok anyway. Have you checked in the lib folder, maybe the dll files you need are ok and the failure is somewhere else in a dll you do not need.
