The media player program in demos/mediaplayer/mediaplayer will play most
video file formats for me except MPEG.
When I load an MPEG file I get the error message:
Error: Unknown media format: video/mpeg, mpegversion=(int)2,
systemstream=(boolean)false
If I continue I'm able to hear the audio from the MPEG file.
The example program examples/phonon/capabilities lists video/mpeg as a
supported MIME type.
I'm using the second Qt 4.4.0 rc1 pre-release on Debian Etch. I have
these GStreamer packages installed:
