I have some problem building qt-mac-opensource-src-4.5.0-snapshot-20081022
This config: ./configure -qt3support -cocoa
Ends up with:
Default Link ........ debug
Qt 3 compatibility .. no
QtDBus module ....... yes (run-time)
...
zlib support ........ system
Session management .. auto
OpenGL support ...... no
MySQL support ....... plugin
Without any error, but not building qt3support...
Any hints? Qt 4.4.3 had no problems.

PS
-cocoa ............. Build the Cocoa version of Qt. Note that
-no-framework
and -static is not supported with -cocoa.
Specifing
this option creates Qt biniaries that requires
Mac OS X
10.5 or higher.
typo: "biniaries"
